It is our fundamental belief that for the Division to succeed and prosper over the long term we must create a culture of sharing. The Division has reignited its efforts to positively contribute to our charities by making monetary contributions to aid in the achievement of their goals.
Our charities are the Golden Age Home, located in Vineyard Town and Mustard seed Communities (Dare to Care) in Spanish Town.
The FID currently provides training on AML matters to both the public and private sector. When providing training to the private sector, we invite the entity involved to make a donation to one of our charities. This is totally voluntary and cheques are made payable directly to the charity of their choice. To date, the FID has donated a combined total of Two Hundred Thousand Jamaican Dollars (200,000.00 JMD) to our charities.
